Position Summary:

The Training and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating training programs while driving employee engagement initiatives across the organization. This role combines facilitation skills with employee engagement strategy to create impactful learning experiences that enhance performance, retention, and organizational culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about adult learning, employee development, and creating positive workplace experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Design & Delivery

Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions on topics including new employee orientation, leadership development, compliance, and technical skills

Collaborate with the Learning & Engagement Specialists to assess organizational training needs through leadership, surveys, content intake requests, and performance data and analysis

Maintain local resources including technology assets, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and interactive materials

Employee Engagement

In partnership with leadership and the Learning team, implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies and initiatives

Support planning and execution of engagement events, team-building activities, and recognition programs

Conduct engagement surveys and analyze results to identify improvement opportunities

Partner with HR team and leadership to address engagement challenges and drive cultural initiatives

Support internal communication efforts to keep employees informed and connected

Program Management

Maintain training calendar and coordinate scheduling with departments and participants

Manage learning management system (LMS) including content uploads, user enrollment, and reporting

Track training completion rates, engagement metrics, and program ROI

Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and maintain documentation

Stay current with learning and development trends, engagement best practices, and adult learning principles

Continuously evaluate and improve existing programs based on feedback and results

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

High level of interpersonal skills throughout the Company team – leaders to frontline employees.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.

Fluency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communications in both languages.

Experience delivering training content in multiple languages to engage diverse audiences.

Excellent organizational skills, time management, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

A self-starter with the ability to work independently and confidently on assigned tasks, while maintaining strong task management communication.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Ability to travel up to 10%.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organization Development preferred.

1-2 years’ experience in training, learning and development and/or employee engagement.

Proficiency with learning management systems.

Fluency in Spanish is required.

Flexibility in schedule, able to accommodate the needs of the business, into early evenings and weekends at times.
