Business Controller Homecare Germany (m/f/d)
What you will enjoy doing
Act as the strategic finance partner for the Homecare Germany management team, providing comprehensive financial insights into sales, costs, capital expenditures (Capex), working capital, and other metrics.
Lead and manage the Forecasting and Budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.
Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to business management and regional leadership.
Perform detailed P&L analysis and planning, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and data‑driven decision-making.
Oversee and control Capital Expenditures (Capex), guaranteeing efficient allocation and resource utilization.
Track FTE developments and manage deviations in personnel costs within relevant cost centre frameworks.
Contribute to the identification and implementation of initiatives that enhance growth, efficiency, and profitability.
Collaborate on financial due diligence efforts for acquisitions, portfolio analyses, and investment/divestment projects.
Ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulatory frameworks, such as local GAAP, IFRS, and Linde policies.
What makes you great
Hold a university or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Bring at least 5 years of experience in controlling or accounting within a multinational corporation, ideally with exposure to the Homecare, Healthcare, or Industrial Gases sector.
Excel at navigating complex situations with a solution‑driven approach and maintain focus on results, always working towards future‑oriented goals.
Demonstrate strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills and lead with confidence, showcasing a visible leadership style and a strong, engaging personality.
Advanced MS Excel skills are essential; SAP, BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, and VBA are a plus.
Approach challenges with analytical and structured thinking, supported by excellent quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
Possess advanced knowledge of Controlling and Financial Accounting, with a deep understanding of P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow structures.
Be fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills in written and spoken formats.
