POSITION SUMMARY: This position offers the right person a unique opportunity to be a key financial influencer & strategic business partner for the Nestlé USA trade strategy & governance team. Managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of revenue, facilitating key decisions related to trade strategy and trade efficiency with a focus on ensuring profitable growth. Who are we looking for? The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial oversight including detailed reporting of UADs (unauthorized deductions), developing tools to determine division spend for planned price and promo GTM strategies, Customer Segmentation reporting, and ad-hoc customer analysis. This will require someone who is comfortable digesting large amounts of data and can use both art and science to convert it into actionable insights for the organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with at least 3-5 years of experience in CPG or a relevant field that has transferable examples of how they can influence and drive results. How you will make an impact: The position is instrumental in governance of Nestlé’s trade principles, reporting on efficiency KPIs, and continuing to expand the role of Customer Segmentation in our organization. AREAS OF FOCUS Work proactively with Governance team on month reporting & insights. Work with the Credit team to understand drivers and solutions for accounts above our UAD tolerance level. Work with Divisions & Governance on Nestlé’s Trade Principles, including tracking of compliance to principles. Own the BDF calculator to support divisions in annual planning, and mid-year status updates for plan affordability and trade off’s needed. Propose actionable solutions to business challenges by performing root cause analysis to identify and quantify value creation opportunities. Help with process improvements across Revenue Growth Management. EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 4 years of experience revenue growth management and/or finance management experience in Consumer Goods company/industry preferred. Intermediate/Advanced in Excel and SAP (or other ERP System) required. Previous experience with Sales Finance/RGM and trade fund management a plus. Position will be located in the Arlington, VA Nestle Corporate Offices. Travel will be limited in this role. SKILLS: Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills. Superior execution skills in a changing environment and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong data management and analytical skills, and critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals. Proven ability to not only deliver, but drive excellent work in a team and matrix organization. Excellent inter-personal communication and the ability to influence others; negotiation skills a plus. Self-starter and shows initiative and quickly learns the specifics of the customer and revenue growth management. Ability to drive change. Critical thinking/ Curiosity. Strong Business acumen.
