Join our team as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist where you can make a significant impact on our organization’s culture and employee experience. As a Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the well‑being and satisfaction of employees at FAAC International, Inc. You will manage various aspects of HR, including unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, and payroll processing.

This fast‑paced environment requires a high level of commitment and flexibility, including extended hours when needed. The role demands a proactive communicator with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing – Ensure accurate and timely payroll via ADP Workforce Now. Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies.

Benefits Enrollment – Help manage benefits enrollment and maintain benefits records.

HR Compliance – Stay updated with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies are compliant.

HRIS Maintenance – Optimize HRIS records and generate HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision‑making.

Workers’ Compensation – Participate in accident investigations, ensure safety compliance, and assist with claims management.

Data Management – Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including employee files, attendance, and timekeeping.

Recruitment & Onboarding – Lead recruitment efforts, conduct interviews, extend offers, and manage onboarding to set new hires up for success.

External Staffing – Interface with external recruitment agencies and staffing providers as needed.

Employee Relations – Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances professionally and timely. Advise employees on HR policies, benefits, and compensation.

Other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Generalist Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 3–5 years HR experience in lieu of degree.

Certification: SHRM‑CP or PHR preferred.

Experience:

Employee Relations – Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; experience handling sensitive issues.

HR Policy Development – Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Regulatory Compliance – Experience ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including remote workforces across multiple states.

Benefits Administration – Experience managing employee benefits programs, including annual selection and administration.

Payroll – Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including variable compensation and accuracy.

Spreadsheets – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Basic Accounting – Knowledge of income statements, balance sheets, and general ledger.

Office 365 – Proficiency with PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other applications.

Labor Laws – Strong knowledge of federal, state (Florida), and local (California) labor laws.

Soft Skills – Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level.

Employment Type: Temporary.
