We’re partnering with a global technology company developing next-generation sensing and analytics platforms for large-scale, continuous monitoring of physical environments. Their systems capture and process vast volumes of time-series and geospatial data, enabling real-time detection, classification, and response across a range of operational scenarios.

The U.S. team is growing and looking for a

Data Management Engineer

to design and maintain the data infrastructure that underpins their machine learning and signal processing capabilities.

The Role You’ll take ownership of building scalable, reliable data pipelines — from ingest and labeling through to retrieval and analysis. Your work will enable scientists and engineers to access clean, structured datasets that drive model training, algorithm evaluation, and field deployment.

This is a hands-on role spanning ETL development, database design, and workflow automation, helping shape a modern data environment that supports cutting-edge sensing and AI workloads.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement databases and repositories for high-volume time-series and geospatial data

Develop ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and index large distributed sensor datasets

Build query tools and APIs that allow fast access to labeled signature data for ML and DSP teams

Automate data ingestion and backup processes to ensure reliability and repeatability

Support the creation of automated dataset “playlists” for model training and workflow testing

Contribute to the development of dashboards and visualization tools for data exploration

What You’ll Bring

Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases

Familiarity with geospatial data and GIS tools (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS, or PostGIS)

Understanding of data modeling, indexing, and schema design for large, multi-source datasets

Experience building data pipelines and automating ingestion, validation, and backup workflows

Collaborative approach and strong documentation habits

Nice to Have

Exposure to time-series data, sensor data, or scientific data management

Experience with cloud or hybrid storage architectures and backup strategies

Familiarity with containerized or CI/CD environments (Docker, GitLab, etc.)

Knowledge of metadata standards, data versioning, or vector databases

Why Join You’ll be a key enabler in transforming raw data into intelligence — working with a close-knit, multidisciplinary team where your engineering work directly supports applied AI and signal processing on real-world sensor systems. It’s a technically rewarding environment with real impact and growth potential.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background check are required due to the nature of the work.
