About Us Our client is a Top 30 P&C Broker dedicated to delivering comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our commercial clients. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join us in supporting and expanding our client relationships. Ideal individual will have experience managing middle & large market accounts, experience servicing a mixed bag of accounts (construction, real estate, hospitality, etc.), and in-depth knowledge of servicing & placing coverage.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager with a strong background in servicing clients, working closely with underwriters, and providing a high level of customer service daily. In this client-focused role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex commercial accounts, providing strategic support, and ensuring coverage aligns with the unique risks of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a book of commercial accounts ranging from industries including construction, real estate, retail, etc.
Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and certificates of insurance.
Create schedules of insurance and program schematics
Assist with the coordination and collection of renewal data and preparation of insurance submissions
Work closely with producers, underwriters, and carriers to negotiate terms and ensure optimal coverage solutions.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal summaries.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in agency management systems (e.g., Epic, AMS360).
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and risk management support.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
In-depth knowledge of commercial property insurance, including business interruption, inland marine, and equipment coverage.
Strong understanding of the unique exposures faced by energy-related businesses.
Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
