Executive Recruiting Manager Base pay range: $150,000 - $225,000 per year.

This is a full-service mid‑size law firm with a hybrid remote schedule (3 days in‑office, 2 remote).

Job Details

Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including administrative hearings, state and federal court actions, and mediation/arbitration.

Handle cases involving employment law, construction defects, student rights and discipline, public contracting, personal injury, and constitutional claims.

Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and other dispositive motions.

Take and defend depositions; prepare clients and witnesses for testimony.

Provide strategic legal guidance and risk‑management counsel directly to clients.

Appear before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, OCR, Civil Rights Department, Labor Commissioner, and others.

Collaborate with a cross‑functional legal team focused solely on education law.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in California.

Recent civil litigation experience with full case‑management responsibilities.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: education law, labor and employment litigation, insurance defense, civil rights, municipal law, or public entity defense.

Strong communication skills and the ability to provide practical, client‑centered legal advice to public sector entities.
