The Work You Will Do Technology Support Lead‑North Region – Office of Administration-Information Technology Services TPK Office This position will lead the Turnpike Technology Support team and be responsible for installation, support, and maintenance of enterprise technology equipment in Ocoee, FL as well as remote locations in central and northern Florida.

Annual Salary Range $64,955.88 – $74,920.30
Your Specific Responsibilities
Leads the Turnpike Technology Support team and is responsible for installation, support, and maintenance of enterprise technology equipment in Ocoee, FL as well as remote locations in central and northern Florida. Supervises, recruits, mentors, and leads a high‑performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Coordinates all activities involving responding, addressing, resolving, and escalation of reported technology service or usability issues in the responsible region.
Collaborates with other regional leadership as well as district staff to ensure all technology needs are met and the user base is receiving a consistent support experience.
Assists Technology Support Manager in developing a quarterly technology assessment report that identifies TP‑OIT response time intervals, operational availability and service resource priorities; confers with, defines and assists office supervisors in the implementation of established plans to ensure timely processing and completion of responsibilities. The report should include identifying TP‑OIT's ability to adhere to FDOT approved Service Level Agreements.
Ensures support and technical documentation originating in the OIT Department is up to date and an accurate reflection of the associated technology. Publishes documentation in a common shared area for approval and develops process to ensure documentation is constantly maintained.
Reviews requests and works collaboratively with OIT Operations to procure Information Technology resources. Advises Turnpike team members of solutions, changes, and implements necessary controls to ensure the Turnpike is in compliance with the acquisition and process for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and other local technology procedures.
Serves as a member of the Department's Workstation Support Team (WSST) and other service‑oriented groups, attending mandated meetings and teleconferences. Such participation and duties includes, but is not limited to, technology research, evaluation, deployment and development of industry projects. Confers with, defines, and assists management in the implementation of an established plan to ensure timely processing and completion of responsibilities.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge Of
computer operations procedures and systems
governmental information technology policies and procedures
principles and processes for providing customer services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Skills In
the areas of employee management and supervision
communicating business and technical information effectively to information technology personnel and non‑technical personnel
customer service
Ability To
identify and define user task needs and/or conduct short‑ and long‑range project planning studies
understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Other Job‑Related Requirements Overnight and regular travel within Orange, Polk, and surrounding counties is required. The incumbent must be available during off‑duty hours.
