The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports to the Crew Chief for assignment of work scope tasks and is responsible for the efficient execution of work scope tasks assigned. The AMT performs tasks as required by the work scope efficiency and to quality standards and utilizes the applicable technical data relative to tasks performed including but not limited to maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications and fueling and de-fueling.

Avionics technicians install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems like navigation, communication, and flight control systems. Key responsibilities include using diagnostic tools to find problems, performing repairs, and documenting all maintenance work to ensure aircraft safety and compliance with regulations. This role requires technical skills, a deep understanding of complex electronic systems, and the ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.

Core Responsibilities Installation:

Install and assemble electronic components like switches, instruments, and control systems, often following blueprints, schematics, and technical orders.

Inspection and maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and meet safety standards.

Troubleshooting:

Use logic, reasoning, and specialized test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and systemic problems in electronic systems.

Repair:

Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective parts, which can include complex micro‑miniature modules on computer circuit cards.

Testing:

Perform functional and flight tests to verify the performance of electrical and electronic systems.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all work performed and ensure all maintenance is compliant with aviation regulations.

Collaboration:

Work with other technicians, engineers, and pilots to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.

Additional Qualifications:

FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Rating. Minimum 5 (five) years' experience in Corporate Jet and/or

Business Jet maintenance environment, preferably on Bombardier Series Aircraft, Dassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Hawker
