Job Overview : Instructor Caregiver for Day Program supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Full‑time, hourly rate $18–$20. Hours 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Work location Temecula, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Outline and prepare daily routines (visual and active) per Individual Program Plan.
Assist clients with bathroom needs, changing undergarments or clothing when required.
Prepare meals and assist with clean‑up.
Support clients with daily living and vocational activities.
Transport clients in company vans as needed.
Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
Input client notes into computer programs, review IPP goals, and communicate with supervisors.
Attend regular staff meetings and engage in continuing education and training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
At least 1 year supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
ASL preferred but not required.
Minimum age 21 and valid California driver’s license.
Must pass all pre‑employment requirements, including background check.
Preferred: Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & 2) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
Preferred: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
First Aid/CPR certification required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
