We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)Job Description – Speech Language PathologistEvaluate pediatric and adult patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders. Contribute to the success of our Inpatient and Outpatient Departments by:* Assesses & evaluates pediatric and adult patients’ communication needs utilizing observation, interviewing skills, and when applicable, standardized testing. Conducts physical examinations (e.g., oral peripheral, modified barium swallow studies). Utilizes related knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.* Develops and implements a care plan that meets the identified needs of the pediatric and adult patient and care partners. The care plan must include measurable short- and long-term goals with time frames.* Evaluates the pediatric and adult patient response to treatment interventions and revises the care plan with input from appropriate team members, patients, and care partners.* Utilizes knowledge of scientific principles and departmental policy to render safe and effective treatment interventions for pediatric and adult patients.* Detects, interprets, and acts upon signs, symptoms, and responses exhibited by the pediatric and adult patient and modifies treatment interventions as needed.* Applies effective teaching principles through the instruction and supervision of the pediatric and adult patient and care partners.
