Test Analyst - Device Tester

We are looking for a Device Tester to validate and ensure the quality of in-store hardware and integrated systems. The role involves configuring and testing POS systems, peripherals, and mobile devices, performing functional and integration testing, and supporting pilot rollouts. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with device testing and strong troubleshooting skills.

Your role

Configure and validate POS systems, KVS, scanners, printers, PED devices, and other peripherals.

Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across in‑store devices (POS, handhelds, scanners, printers, etc.).

Validate software builds, firmware upgrades, and hardware configurations before production release.

Perform end‑to‑end validation across integrated systems such as Order Management, Payment, Loyalty, and Digital Ordering.

Maintain an inventory of test devices, environments, and configuration baselines.

Support device onboarding, setup, and network configuration for test labs.

Participate in pilot store validations and assist with field testing during rollout phases.

Your skills and experience

2+ years of experience in device or hardware testing (POS, peripherals, PED, KVS, printers, and mobile devices).

Hands‑on experience testing Android, iOS, or Windows‑based devices.

Working knowledge of test management tools (qTest, TestRail, Jira, etc.).

Basic understanding of APIs, backend logs, and network connectivity validation.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Salary Disclosure Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The base salary range for this position is $54,300 – $119,490. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full‑time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
