We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team and support our financial operations.
As an Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in processing the company’s financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, with a strong preference for those who have worked in industrial or manufacturing environments. This position reports directly to the CFO.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and accounts
- Support bookkeeping activities, including expense entry and statement review
- Assist with vendor management and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
- Well-rounded accounting experience, including A/P, A/R, and bookkeeping
- Industrial or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epicor products is ideal
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel and accounting software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- High School diploma required; degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
