Job Description

Position: Structural Engineer

Location: Remote

Client: Commercial Building Developer

Responsibilities

• Design structural civil layouts for buildings. This person will offer construction and design solutions to customers, utilizing AutoCAD to do metal designs.
• Ensure building integrity and safety, and meet customers\' needs by meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
• Provide detailed quotes and proposals to customers for material costs and answer customer questions; complete projects from start to finish.
• This is a GREAT opportunity for someone to come in and provide a needed skill and take advantage of advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree, Concentration in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architecture
• AutoCAD design experience (Experience with RAM or RISA)
• 5+ years of experience working with structural design
• Knowledge of building codes and specifications
• Ability to read construction drawings
• PE license
