Vice President of Information Systems
to join our leadership team. This role is critical to shaping Sugar Mountain’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and security posture across all brands and entities. You’ll bring vision, execution, and technical leadership to drive transformation, enable scalable growth, and support day-to-day operations, all within a high-trust, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead AI and automation strategy to modernize operations, enhance decision-making, and drive continuous improvement. • Build and develop a high-performing IT team and culture focused on service, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. • Define and lead a scalable IT strategy aligned with business priorities, driving enterprise-wide innovation, digital transformation, and operational agility. • Partner with executive leaders to identify and implement high-impact technology solutions that support growth and improve efficiency. • Oversee enterprise applications and infrastructure (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS), ensuring integration, performance, and scalability. • Drive cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management, including incident response, data protection, and continuity planning. • Manage IT financial planning, aligning budgets and investments with business outcomes and technology priorities. • Lead vendor strategy, including selection, negotiation, and performance oversight to ensure value and strategic alignment. • Establish and track KPIs to measure technology performance, project success, and business impact. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a senior leadership role • Proven experience leading AI and automation initiatives across cross-functional teams • Proven success in scaling IT capabilities and executing strategy in high-growth, multi-entity environments, ideally within consumer goods, retail, or food sectors • Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and enterprise applications (e.g., Windows Server, Microsoft 365, network architecture) • Strong track record of leading digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes • Exceptional leadership, project management, and organizational skills • Executive presence with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities • Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology with evolving business needs and priorities Compensation & Benefits The starting salary range for this position is between $200,000 - $280,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
