EHS Onsite Support (Field Based)
Apply to join ERM. We are hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to support a key technology client facility in San Jose, CA. The part‑time (24–40 hrs per week) limited‑term onsite consulting role lasts 1 month, extendable. Responsibilities
Support Energy Isolation Plan development, implementation, and verification. Assist with laboratory compliance: hazard communication, SDS management, and inspections. Conduct ergonomic assessments for lab and office staff. Manage hazardous waste labeling, accumulation, and disposal in line with regulations. Perform routine inspections and recommend corrective actions. Participate in safety committee meetings and support site initiatives. Collaborate with Micron’s EHS team to ensure policy and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate records and prepare summary reports. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in lab, semiconductor, or manufacturing environments preferred. Knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations, including LOTO, hazardous waste, and ergonomics. Strong communication and teamwork skills in a client-facing environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic site conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EHS systems like Enablon or Intelex is a plus. Pay Transparency
$88,236 – $132,849 annually ($42.42/hr – $63.86/hr USD). The pay range is based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, location, performance, shift, travel, and other factors. Eligibility for bonus pay is not included for casual or fixed‑term employees. Benefits
