The Challenge We are seeking a talented mid‑level

Jr. Electrical Engineer – PE

to add to our full‑service electrical design team in Chicago, IL.

Principle Areas Of Responsibility

Assist in the preparation of low voltage building design drawings on AutoCAD and Revit.

Prepares drawings, specifications, and procedures for the installation, integration, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.

Provides Design/Quality control for ongoing construction projects.

Reviews contractor submittals against specifications and responds to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs).

Prepares and/or reviews and evaluates design calculations.

Develops independent cost estimates both for the government as well as for internal proposal purposes.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.

EIT registration is required, PE preferred.

Proficiency in Revit and currently performing production work required.

4 years of experience in design within the electrical engineering discipline required.

Some domestic travel may be required; ability to travel internationally is preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Compensation

This full‑time position has an annual base range of $84,500–$97,100.

This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.

The actual rate is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
