Principal Platform Architect, Agentic AI Base pay range:

$272,000.00/yr - $425,500.00/yr

As part of Nvidia's applied AI team for chip design, you will have the opportunity to tap into the unlimited potential of AI and change the landscape of the chip industry. Our team operates at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development, transforming innovative ideas and research breakthroughs into real-world solutions. You will collaborate closely with researchers to design and scale agents—enabling them to reason, plan, call tools and code just like human engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Play key role in design, development, and deployment of large‑scale high‑performance enterprise‑ready agent frameworks and tools.

Collaborate with engineering and applied AI teams to understand specific needs and challenges of chip design and ensure our agent platform is well‑suited to these needs.

Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, and images) to build advanced AI applications.

Collect and organize training/fine‑tuning data and help build domain‑specific large language models.

Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability, and ensure secure and efficient management of data.

Stay ahead by engaging with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state‑of‑the‑art solutions.

Lead with purpose and maintain high‑quality engineering practices that inspire others to achieve excellence.

What We Need To See

Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

15+ years of proven industry experience.

Skilled at rapidly taking products from concept to launch and scaling them massively by performance tuning and optimizing complex, globally distributed systems.

Familiarity with modern software development stacks and tools, including containerization, cloud or on‑premises deployments, API integration and real‑time processing frameworks.

Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, CI/CD, Kubernetes, message broker architectures, data pipelines, and test‑driven development.

Strong proficiency in agentic LLM libraries/technologies like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, RAGs, vector databases, prompt engineering, knowledge graphs, etc.

Hands‑on experience developing large‑scale web applications and REST APIs, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge as needed to achieve results.

Front‑end development experience using React or Vue.js is a plus.
