Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. ***HYBRID onsite 2-3 days per week in Santa Clara!*** Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and support large-scale data center networks exceeding 200G capacity. This position is instrumental in delivering robust, high-performance networking solutions to support mission-critical computing environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in virtual networking, structured cabling, and HPC (High Performance Computing) architecture. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support high-capacity Data Center networks (200G+). Architect end-to-end networking plans, including both high-level and low-level design documents. Execute structured cabling strategies for optimal data center connectivity. Support virtual network technologies, with a focus on VxLAN and EVPN deployments. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement Spine/Leaf fabric topologies for scalable POD design. Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of network systems. Lead acceptance testing and validation of all network installations and configurations. Required Qualifications Strong technical expertise with Arista networking equipment; Mellanox experience is a plus. Hands-on experience with Cumulus Networks is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of VxLAN and EVPN virtual networking technologies. Proficiency in designing structured cabling systems for large-scale environments. Demonstrated expertise in network architecture for HPC environments. Deep understanding of Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS), advanced UNIX services, and Shell scripting. Familiarity with Infiniband and ROCE-based cluster technologies. Comprehensive knowledge of Spine/Leaf data center topologies and rack elevation design. Experience working with Infiniband HDR and EDR cabling types. Successful history of deploying and supporting network services across distributed systems. Expertise with SAN and NAS storage technologies (iSCSI, NFS, CIFS). Understanding of workload schedulers such as Slurm. Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as SaltStack, Chef, or Puppet. Seniority level
