Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT (R), SCQRSA, BLS, and at least one year of IR experience. Responsibilities Work in a dedicated interventional radiology department within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional weeks of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Daily caseload ranges from 5 to 8 cases per technologist On-call required: one weeknight every other week, 1-2 weekends during the contract, and possible holiday call Procedures include vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and PE thrombectomy Preferred experience with Y90 implant and chemo embolization Uses Epic EMR Radiation badge must be provided by the agency First-time travelers are accepted Scrubs in navy color provided by the facility All time off (RTO) must be requested at time of application and approval is based on facility needs Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis and may be offered at a local rate Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility for travel status eligibility Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility system for at least one year before applying as a traveler All staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Parking pass requires a one-time $20 payment for nights and weekends Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent IR technologist experience Current ARRT (R), SCQRSA, and AHA BLS certifications required Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma setting required License required if applicable Ability to provide SSN and driver's license for consideration Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts
