This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Requirements: 8 years of experience working with Big Data technologies such Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Impala, Pig, Kafka, NiFi etc Hands-on development experience using functional programming constructs utilizing languages like Python and Scala.
