American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience, BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification, and previous travel assignment experience. Responsibilities

Position is in a short-term acute care teaching hospital Work in an interventional radiology department with adult inpatient population Procedures involve IR/angiography, C-Arm usage, contrast administration, and biopsies 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off Call required on weekends (Friday–Sunday every 6 weeks) and one weekday call every other week Late stay requirements based on staffing needs Uses Cerner EMR Scrubs are provided No on-site parking for day shift; overnight and weekend parking available Modules and orientation required, average of 12 hours completed pre-start Holiday, RTO, and absence policies are in place, with a maximum of 3 days off per contract in perioperative units Applicants within 60 miles considered local candidates at a lower rate Return staff must have a 1-year break in employment to qualify as a traveler Manager interview may not be required Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment Active BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification required Certifications in Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Advanced certifications (Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, Cardiovascular) preferred but not required Experience with C-Arm, contrast administration, biopsies, and IR/angiography procedures Experience with Cerner preferred Valid state license required if applicable Two supervisor references required Benefits
