Director, Insights & Measurement – Content & Culture

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in TV/digital/streaming media research at a media brand, agency, or supplier

Proficiency in TV and Digital applications and syndicated research tools (Nielsen NPower, ComScore, TV Brand Effect, Lake 5, Adobe, Simmons-MRI, etc.)

Extensive knowledge of audience insights and social platforms, such as MRI, YouGov, SCR Talkwalker, etc.

Comprehensive knowledge of the cross‑platform media landscape including desktop/mobile, OTT, STB VOD, linear television, and social media consumption

Capable of big data analyses, creative storytelling, data visualization, and presentation development

Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Strategic thinker with strong interest in advertising/media research, consumer insights, and the tech category

Strong communication, presentation, consultative, and interpersonal skills

Experience representing and/or presenting to internal and external client meetings

Team player focused on cultivating and growing strong internal and external relationships

Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to foster a positive work environment and develop talent

Responsibilities Client’s Insights & Measurement Team delivers best‑in‑class insights to support the Ad Sales division by showing the value of client’s premium content and audiences across its portfolio.

The

Content & Culture

team seeks a

director

to help lead sales‑driven research and develop data‑backed stories for client’s entertainment properties like SNL, Real Housewives, and The Paper. This person will use research and analytics to help advertisers understand why client’s is a top choice for ad placements.

Reporting to the VP, Content & Culture, you will:

Partner with the VP to develop insights‑driven narratives positioning client’s premium content within the video marketplace

Direct and organize analyses, reports, and presentations that highlight client’s competitive advantages and drive ad sales revenue

Collaborate with the Impact (brand measurement, attribution) and Primary Research teams to use ad campaign data and proprietary insights in go‑to‑market materials

Work closely with client’s Sales, Marketing, and Strategy teams to support strategic initiatives

Assess new metrics, tools, and resources to quantify client’s value in the media landscape

Build relationships with internal teams (Consumer Insights, Decision Sciences, Content & Analytics) to integrate learnings and guide ad sales strategy

Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members within Insights & Measurement
