Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to lead the strategic planning and execution of Pearl Meyer’s thought leadership and corporate communications programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will shape and amplify our brand voice across multiple channels, manage media and PR efforts, and oversee internal communications initiatives that support firm‑wide engagement and business impact. This is a senior‑level, hands‑on role that requires exceptional strategic thinking, editorial judgment, and leadership ability. The Senior Manager also supervises the Marketing Coordinator, fostering professional development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and management of thought leadership programs, ensuring strategic content alignment and effective execution across all platforms.
Partner with internal stakeholders to create and publish content for the Pearl Meyer website, podcasts, email campaigns, social media, and external publications.
Serve as senior editor for firm‑wide content—providing developmental edits, copy editing, and proofreading as needed.
Oversee the firm’s media relations and PR strategy, ensuring integration with major business initiatives.
Collaborate with the CMO and leadership to refine brand messaging in alignment with strategic priorities.
Manage internal communications, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
Monitor industry trends and recommend new content opportunities and partnerships that enhance brand relevance and visibility.
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CMO and contribute to broader marketing initiatives across the firm.
Manage, mentor, and develop the Marketing Coordinator to achieve individual and team goals.
Qualifications Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Marketing or Business preferred.
Proven track record in B2B marketing management (20+ years preferred) with experience in both traditional and digital marketing.
Demonstrated experience managing demand generation programs and partner relationships.
Skills and Competencies:
Expertise in marketing strategy, communications, and content development.
Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation, content management systems, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Excellent leadership, project management, and collaboration abilities.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite familiarity a plus.
Comfort with emerging technologies and AI tools.
Work Environment & Travel
Hybrid work model: in‑office 3 days per week.
Travel required (approximately 5–6 times per year) for partner visits and event support.
Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
