Seasonal Tax-FSO- GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory-BCM Senior Manager
Location: Anywhere in Country – Remote (New York or Remote).
Role Overview Seasonal Senior Manager responsible for providing tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning for the Financial Services Organization (FSO) covering Banking & Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve‑out financial statements, GAAP conversions, share‑based compensation, financial statement restatements, balance‑sheet remediation of tax accounts).
Assist companies with all aspects of their tax provision preparation and review.
Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment.
Assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404.

Key Risks Identification, Prioritization, Monitoring and Remediation
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS.
Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation.
Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.
Strong ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 experience and experience in corporate tax planning and compliance (preferred).
