Geotechnical Engineer
Base Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
Location: Atlanta, GA.
Salary: Based on experience and to be discussed with the manager during interview.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
1‑5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field.
EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Internship or co‑op experience in civil engineering preferred.
Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC‑RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.
