Job Overview The Atlanta office is looking for a Tax Manager to proactively manage and coordinate the financial affairs of high-net-worth families, ensuring tax, financial, personal, and business needs are met timely and accurately.

Responsibilities
Support directors and review trust, partnership, and corporate multistate tax returns for completeness and accuracy.
Review and communicate quarterly and year‑end tax projections and other planning strategies.
Proactively manage tax compliance and deadlines for assigned families.
Respond to internal and external communications in a timely manner.
Coordinate and monitor cash needs with accounting and investment groups to ensure adequate funds.
Conduct analytical review of quarterly financial reports to ensure accurate reflection of client activities.
Collaborate with other Pathstone departments to prepare and present deliverables at quarterly family meetings.
Participate in quarterly family meetings, virtually or in person.
Train and mentor family office team members.
Other family office duties as assigned (estate & financial planning, philanthropy, entity selection/structuring).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; Master of Taxation desirable.
5+ years public accounting experience with a CPA firm serving high-net‑worth families or family office services experience preferable.
CPA license required.
Strong communication, project management, and prioritization skills.
Pay Transparency Starting base compensation range: $100,000 – $150,000 per year. Compensation determined by experience, education, specialty, training. Eligible for discretionary bonus award.
