Job Description:
The Revenue Integrity Program Manager serves as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations and clinical departments, Chiefs of Staff, and School of Medicine Directors of Finance & Administration (DFAs). The role ensures compliance with government, payer, and internal charge capture policies, optimizing revenue generation for both Technical (Facility) and Professional Services. The position involves managing workflows, reducing missed charges, ensuring timely charge capture, and identifying new revenue opportunities using NThrive software.
Responsibilities
Review and manage workflows to reduce missed charges and ensure timely charge capture.
Identify new revenue opportunities and manage the Charge Description Master (CDM) using NThrive software.
Conduct prospective reviews of charge capture practices and provide findings and educational tools to staff.
Facilitate the use of NThrive for CDM requests, focusing on regulatory coding and compliance.
Collaborate with the Compliance Department to educate staff on CPT codes, HCPCS codes, revenue codes, and modifiers.
Lead projects to improve revenue compliance and charge capture process efficiencies.
Perform basic financial analyses to report payment changes impacts due to payer practices and CMS regulation changes.
Review NThrive CCA files daily to identify system compliance issues and revenue opportunities.
Develop criteria for reporting revenue performance to various audiences.
Present comprehensive reports with content understanding and explanations for budget variations.
Essential Skills
Program management experience.
Proficiency in EPIC and HB Revenue Integrity.
Experience with Excel macros and Charge Description Master.
Knowledge of billing, finance, and CDM processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Interim support for full-time hire potential if performance is strong.
Work Environment The position is remote, providing a flexible work environment.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Redwood City, California.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $46.20 - $87.33/hr.
