Job Description The behavior staff will work with and teach children with disabilities as part of a team. Employees receive training in Applied Behavior Analysis, including Discrete Trial Training and Natural Environment Training, plus other proven teaching methodologies. The staff will conduct structured teaching in the home and/or school environment, implement program changes, and maintain daily data on each program/goal. Timeliness and professionalism are essential. The objective is to foster independence across settings and promote success.
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma (required)
Valid driver's license and car insurance (driving required)
Computer literate, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, flexible availability
Drive a minimum of 30-45 miles from your location
Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and the public
Ability to work in home, school, and clinical settings
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, push a wheelchair, and work in various weather conditions
Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
Good leadership skills
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
All team members are trained and certified as Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Opportunities for advancement to Qualified Autism Services Practitioner, Supervisor, Case Manager, Behavior Specialist, BCaBA, BCBA, Clinical Director, and more are available.
