Job Summary The
Analyst, Originations
works closely with Brio origination and production team members to deliver thoughtful, detail‑oriented, best‑in‑class service to a client base of commercial homebuilders. The role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and providing timely, accurate, and actionable business information to clients and relationship managers in support of the Homebuilder lending platform. The position interfaces regularly with Clients, Servicers, Relationship Managers, and Loan Administration/Production staff (primarily across the Western U.S.). The ideal candidate communicates well, thrives in a collaborative environment, operates independently with initiative, and is an active listener and diligent learner who asks questions when needed.
What You Will Do
Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to collect, validate, and prepare data and documentation essential to the lending process.
Perform data analysis and provide day‑to‑day support for origination, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of commercial homebuilder loans.
Track and report pipeline activity, origination metrics, deal status, and builder performance; maintain dashboards/scorecards and keep CRM and systems of record current.
Prepare client‑ready materials (summaries, exhibits, spreadsheets) and help coordinate diligence data rooms and closing checklists.
Partner with Relationship Managers, Loan Administration/Production, and Servicers to resolve data gaps, issues, and follow‑ups quickly.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across internal systems; adhere to Brio processes, controls, and documentation standards.
Monitor key dates and conditions (approvals, diligence items, covenants) and elevate risks or variances promptly.
Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives for the Homebuilder lending platform.
Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
What You Should Have
Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience in real estate finance, lending, or business development, particularly in homebuilder construction or development financing.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills; comfort interfacing with clients and cross‑functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills; experience working with financial data, tools, and methods (e.g., Excel modeling, pivot tables).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular); familiarity with CRM software and financial/lending systems of record.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
