Software Engineer (C++), Exposure Management (Remote)
As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes, and technologies that drive modern organizations. This role focuses on the development of the CrowdStrike Falcon Host sensor, a lightweight agent installed on client machines, and the cloud component that aggregates telemetry and presents a prioritized threat summary.
Responsibilities
Lead engineering efforts and collaborate with Product Management to define scope.
Take ownership and accountability while collaborating with geographically distributed cross‑functional teams.
Design and develop user‑mode software for deployment on Windows systems.
Own features from design to delivery.
Collaborate with multi‑functional team across various physical locations.
Troubleshoot issues reported by customers responsively.
Develop software for Falcon Discover and other assigned products.
Qualifications
High‑quality C++ code development for Windows OS; demonstrate capability through experience or contributions.
Experience shipping major features and releases on a team.
Strong communication, collaboration, and effective work in a distributed team.
Understanding of networking fundamentals.
Experience developing on Mac and Linux OS is a plus.
Experience building cybersecurity‑related products is a plus.
Experience developing product code with high concurrency, multithreading, and reliability requirements.
B.S. degree in a related field.
