Senior UX Researcher
and play a key role in shaping the user experience by driving research to provide insights that inform product design and strategy.
Responsibilities
Promote the value of UX Research through various tools and processes.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders (product, engineering, sales, support) to gather research participants and share insights.
Understand and translate business requirements and constraints into research initiatives.
Collect and analyze user needs and behaviors via qualitative research methods (stakeholder and user interviews, surveys, field visits, usability and remote testing).
Create personas, user journeys, and flows to better understand our end users and communicate that understanding to our product teams.
Share research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences through written documentation and oral presentations.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to prioritize research findings in a fast‑paced environment.
Keep abreast of industry and user experience trends, best practices, and promote research within the team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in anthropology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in user experience, product design research, experience design, or related field.
Knowledge of or experience within the payments industry.
Experience with research design using foundational research, contextual inquiries, journey maps, surveys, and usability studies.
Experience with remote research tools (User Interviews, UserTesting, Qualtrics).
Ability to make decisions and adapt based on understanding of business goals, needs, and challenges.
Excellent time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize needs.
Collaboration and team‑player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
4–6 years of relevant work experience in user experience, HCI, or product design research.
Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Pendo).
