Responsibilities
Design and implement
scalable, secure, and high-performing data systems
across data warehouses and data lakes.
Build and maintain
data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
for claims, member, provider, and clinical data.
Drive
interoperability solutions
aligned with
USCDI‑US Core and FHIR
standards.
Collaborate with business, IT, and data science teams to ensure architecture supports key business goals.
Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability using
Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kafka, or Informatica .
Establish
data governance frameworks
ensuring data quality, compliance ( HIPAA, GDPR ), and consistency.
Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing modern data management and integration technologies.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, preferably in healthcare.
Strong hands‑on expertise in Azure, Databricks, SQL/NoSQL, Python, PySpark.
Proven experience designing interoperability solutions (FHIR, HL7, CCDs, HIE).
Deep understanding of data modeling, governance, and cloud data platforms.
Experience with BI, analytics, and integration tools like ADF, Kafka, IBM DataStage, or Informatica.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
