ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance & Strike team develops aerial and multi‑domain robotic systems. We take products such as the Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air‑breathing cruise missile) from concept to market. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril’s premier software platform that enables thousands of Fury, Barracuda, and other first‑ and third‑party robots to collaborate across missions. We work closely with specialist teams—Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering—to solve the hardest challenges for our customers. We’re looking for software engineers and roboticists excited to build a powerful autonomy stack that includes computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, controls, estimation, and secure communications. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases A desire to work on critical software that has a real‑world impact PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation and physical systems Experience developing and testing multi‑agent autonomous systems and deploying them in real‑world environments Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees Experience developing software/hardware for flight systems and safety‑critical functionality Knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics US Salary Range
