General Overview:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing product marketing launches and releases that align with the overall marketing strategy. This role will play a critical part in driving demand for the brand’s product portfolio, with a primary focus on bats, gloves, and protective equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies for high impact product launches and portfolio growth (Go-to-Market initiatives, campaigns, and product launches)

Assist and write 360‑degree marketing briefs outlining strategy and creative

Marquee and priority product launches annually

Secondary and tertiary product category releases annually

Content creation (brainstorming, planning and execution) of various photo/video shoots

Social media specific content creation, storytelling, and influencer/ambassador network

Partner with product management, sales and brand teams to align road maps and GTM strategies

Consumer Engagement (programs, brand event activations, and experiential marketing)

Work with key stakeholders and provide support for the Rawlings brand

Support brand engagement and grassroots teams, communicate marketing updates and strategies, drive content development

Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute marketing initiatives from brainstorm through execution annually.

Manage launch calendar with key stakeholders to ensure all elements of the marketing launch strategy are aligned and executed according to strategy and timing.

Develop eye‑catching and compelling presentation decks as part of internal or external presentations.

Support retail accounts and ECOM/Omnichannel through marketing communications, delivery of marketing assets, and help produce custom asset requests with graphics department.

Leads creative services and project management workflow to ensure accurate and timely execution of all team projects.

Maintains Master Marketing Calendar, ensuring launch/release dates are accurate and aligned with creative content flighting.

Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and decision‑making.

Assists with annual catalog production and studio photography.

Owns and manages online marketing asset library.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

8+ years’ experience in Marketing (Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Social Media, Creative Content, Events, etc.).

Proven success in launching and scaling products across retail and ecommerce channels.

Knowledge of baseball and fastpitch softball, with an understanding of consumer needs and market dynamics preferred.

Strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.

Extremely detailed and deadline‑oriented.

Excellent organizational skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.

Able to set priorities, execute, and follow them through.

Advertising/production knowledge and sports experience preferred.

Agency background/knowledge preferred.

Working Conditions:

General office working conditions with 20% travel.
