Responsibilities
Conduct visual inspections for compliance and quality standards
Perform part and serial number verification
Record inspection data into tracking systems
Follow safety and quality protocols at all times
Skills and Industry Experience
1+ years in inspection, inventory control, or quality‑related roles
High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred). Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, part numbers, and inspection documents; basic computer/data entry skills.
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or OSHA Safety Training preferred.
Ability to work well in independent and group problem‑solving situations.
Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events.
Flexibility in scheduling.
Job Type 1099 contract.
Project Duration Typically ongoing concurrent client assignment. Note: This is a 1099 contract role – project duration may vary based on client needs.
Shift Hours As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability.
Location Ability to commute to Chicago, IL and nearby IL areas.
