Job Description & Requirements
Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Start Date: ASAP. Available shifts: 12 hours, 6:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Shift pattern: 3 weeks of 12‑hour shifts, 1 week of 4 12‑hour shifts per month.
Practice setting: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Step‑down.
Cases and procedures: Chest tube, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD).
Credentialing time frame: 30‑90 days.
Electronic Medical Record: SCM.
Required credentials: Board Certified, active New York license, DEA number, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
