Job Description Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within NBCU Operations and Technology division with an $800M+ operating cash flow. The group functions as a global shared service, performing critical functions including media production, content supply chain, IT and engineering, and cyber security. The position is based in multiple locations including New York, Connecticut, Los Angeles, and Denver.

The Manager will play an integral role on the Engineering Finance team, overseeing the consolidation and analysis of financial information (OCF, capital, headcount, allocations) across multiple lines of business. The role reports to the Sr. Director of Finance for Engineering and manages one direct report.

Key Responsibilities

Support all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for executive level presentations.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, providing regular reporting on performance, variances, and trends.

Identify and streamline system operations, reporting, and forecasting processes across the Engineering Finance teams.

Collaborate with operating, HR, and finance leads to communicate an effective, concise financial story.

Support controllership in monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Perform various ad‑hoc analyses including variance analysis and sensitivities per senior management requests.

Lead and develop a direct report, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.

Establish open communication and productive relationships with senior leadership and the broader finance team.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

4+ years of public and/or private accounting or FP&A experience.

Solid financial and analytical skills with ability to create complex models.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of accounting/GAAP.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally requiring office presence minimum four days per week.

Eligible for company‑sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $85,000 – $110,000 (bonus eligible).
