The Facilities and Operations team handles all logistical support from an operational standpoint for global locations including space planning, design and moves, construction, phones, and security to support facilities planning and projects. As a Project Manager within Walt Disney Imagineering’s Facilities and Operations Division, you will provide comprehensive oversight and technical leadership from conceptual design through construction across multiple projects. This role builds upon the responsibilities of a Facilities Project Representative, operating at a higher level of complexity and autonomy.
You will report to the Sr. Manager – Facilities & Operations.
This is a Full-Time role.
What You Will Do: Project Oversight & Leadership
Lead planning and supervision of facility construction teams during tenant improvement projects up to $1M
Provide technical leadership and oversight from concept through construction on medium to large-scale facility projects
Act as the primary representative of the WDI Facilities and Operations Division on project teams
Direct in-house staff and collaborate with Design & Delivery teams to prepare construction contract documents
Provide technical and administrative guidance to maintain project costs within budget
Administer contracts and manage strategic partner relationships for both new and existing agreements
Track, forecast, and report on project costs and schedules throughout the lifecycle
Oversee technology upgrades to existing facilities within the WDI portfolio
Space Planning & Operations
Review and edit AutoCAD plans for space planning and construction documentation
Manage the space planning and move process for the WDI California portfolio
Conduct mock‑up space sizing analysis and coordinate space allocation within WDI buildings
Support space management, office move coordination, and related operational activities
May coordinate maintenance and leasing of vehicles and specialty items (e.g., dumpsters)
Standards & Maintenance
Ensure compliance with company standards across all WDI facilities
Partner with vendors and Disney teams to resolve maintenance issues
Manage fiscal budgets and ensure alignment with operational and strategic goals
Participate in the Emergency Management Response Team
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated experience in Project/Construction Management and Change Management
Strategic and tactical thinking with strong problem‑solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously
Skilled in providing direction, managing relationships, and adapting to change within team environments
Strong understanding of client and partner needs with the ability to anticipate and respond effectively
Excellent collaboration skills across multiple business units
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Walt Disney Imagineering core discipline such as: Engineering, Construction management, Facilities management, Architecture, Interior Design or related disciplines required
Advanced degree is desirable

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $95,500 - $128,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
