Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an

Trade Contractor.

An ECC (Export Compliance Coordinator) is responsible for assisting the empowered official to develop, implement, and manage export/import compliance and controls. The ECC works effectively with a cross‑functional team to maintain compliance with U.S. trade regulations while supporting international growth.

Determine U.S. Government requirements for daily export/import activities to support the organization’s goals.

Process shipment paperwork using EASE for all hardware exports.

Submit initial drafts and final licenses, agreements, and correspondence to the Global Trade Group (GTG) for corporate and government review.

Ensure compliance with approved licenses, permits, and general correspondence, including limitations and provisions.

Notify Division/Subsidiary legal counsel and the Segment Trade Director of any potential violations that could lead to penalties or disciplinary action imposed by U.S. or foreign governments.

Support investigations and provide assistance for potential or actual violations.

Develop and conduct export/import and ITAR training consistent with corporate guidance and specific to the location’s products and services.

Review export/import activities to determine if they require action from specific departments or individuals, and conduct self‑audits as required.

Work directly with shipping carriers and brokers to direct export/import clearances.

Ensure that controlled technical data exported via electronic means has been approved under U.S. Government laws and regulations.

Ensure all commercial exports for hardware, software, and technical data have an official jurisdiction.

Complete JC classification via the segment Technical Specialist.

Review visitor requests to determine the necessary action if the visitor is a foreign national or other U.S. person.

Review all employee foreign travel, business, or personal travel.

Possess experience/familiarity with U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR) in a working situation.

Quickly learn different product groups and their capabilities for the specific location.

Coordinate simultaneous activities and prioritize multiple tasks independently with good judgment.

Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, verbally and in writing.

Exhibit a high level of integrity and discretion.

Be proficient with computer software applications such as Adobe, web‑based applications, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Attend at least one internal and one external Export/Import & Compliance Training Seminar per GTG policy.

Attend the Annual International Licensing Conference to remain current with U.S. Government export/import laws and regulations.

Complete GTG Practitioner training within 6 months of employment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, OR 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0‑2 years of related experience. Experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.

Pay Range & Benefits Pay Range*:

$45‑$50 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on factors such as education, work experience, job duties, and certifications.
