We are looking for a
Housekeeping Manager
to join the re-opening of the famed
Delano Miami Beach .
Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk‑in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re‑establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.
Job Description JOB OVERVIEW Under the general guidance of the Director of Housekeeping, the
Housekeeping Manager
assists in ensuring day-to-day operations while providing training, coaching, and counseling to all housekeeping employees. Ensure that all guests are provided quality service and a clean and safe environment throughout their stay, while efficiently managing expenses and maximizing service levels.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented through reservations, comment cards, letters and/or phone calls using all of Delano Core Values. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all housekeeping personnel per the company policies and procedures.
Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program (i.e. floor care, hard cleaning, mattress flipping, etc.) and maintain a detailed checklist for each position.
Assist in maintaining and controlling all housekeeping equipment.
Assist in ensuring compliance with all corporate Risk Management standards.
Assist in conducting monthly guest supplies and cleaning supplies inventories.
Develop employee morale and ensure training of housekeeping personnel.
Inspect rooms daily, and ensure that some rooms are inspected with supervisors daily.
Ensure that public areas, guest rooms and back‑of‑house areas are cleaned to the company standards.
Assist in maintaining required pars of all housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering all needed supplies and amenities on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Assist in conducting monthly and quarterly housekeeping inventories on a timely basis.
Ensure guest privacy and security through correctly following the company procedures.
Monitor work orders and submit them to Engineering according to hotel procedures. Follow up on work orders to ensure completion.
Conduct pre‑shift meetings for room attendants and houseperson.
Respond to emergency situations using information contained in MSD sheets. Keep MSD sheets current and easily available.
Balance and clear room status nightly; compare the p.m. housekeeping report with the PMS room status report and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in preparing employee schedule per business forecast, payroll budget guidelines and productivity requirements.
Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
