The mission of the Cape Fear Valley School of Nursing at Fayetteville State University is to educate culturally competent, ethical, and caring nurses for a global society. Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Nursing Laboratory Manager is a non-teaching EPS employee who collaborates with other nursing department members in performing duties essential to the achievement of the departmental goals for simulation and skill instruction. The main purpose of this position is to function as a planner, consultant, coordinator, and resource person to both faculty and students in the Skills and Simulation Lab.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements:
Current and unrestricted NC nursing license.
Minimum of 6 months clinical experience.
Excellent IPR skills to work with a diverse administration, faculty, students, and community.
Experience with multimedia applications.
Interest and experience with technology common in nursing practice.
Experience and/or ability to learn nursing simulation.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
Knowledge of inventory and equipment management.
Ability to enforce health and safety regulations.
Ability to maintain documentation for compliance.
