As a Business Data Analyst, you will serve a cross‑functional role, supporting strategic decision‑making by developing robust reporting frameworks, analyzing complex datasets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You will be responsible for translating business needs into analytical solutions, maintaining and enhancing dashboards, and enabling data‑driven insights across operations, finance, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create robust data frameworks to support reporting needs across operations, finance, and supply chain functions.
  • Design and implement scalable data models; perform SQL joins and transformations for clean, usable datasets.
  • Own and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring performance, usability, and accuracy of visualizations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs such as on‑time delivery, backlog risk, inventory value, and cost‑to‑serve.
  • Audit and validate datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems (ERP, CRM, Finance tools).
  • Perform root cause analysis on operational issues using data trends and statistical insights.
  • Contribute to data governance practices and assist in standardizing data definitions and business logic.
  • Support financial forecasting, cost modeling, and monthly reporting processes with ad‑hoc analysis.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement through exploratory data analysis.

Key Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience writing optimized queries across complex ERP schemas.
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX measures, drill‑throughs, dynamic visuals, and slicers.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, or data transformation pipelines is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of business processes within operations, finance, or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to distill complex data into executive‑ready insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — must be able to present data to non‑technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Jeeves, SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Power Query, Excel VBA, or Python for automation and data prep.
  • Experience creating financial models or cost analysis reports.
