Receptionist
Brookdale seeks a friendly, organized Receptionist to welcome visitors, manage phone calls, handle mail, and support residents and staff.
Job Description
As a Receptionist, you will greet all visitors entering the community, answer questions, ensure visitors sign guest sheets, and route phone calls to the proper residents and staff. You will sort, deliver, and collect incoming and outgoing community mail. You may also respond to resident emergencies by calling the appropriate internal and external parties based on community protocol. Basic office and clerical duties will also be performed.
Responsibilities
- Greets all visitors entering the community, answers questions, ensures visitors sign guest sheets, and directs phone calls to the proper residents and staff.
- Sorts, delivers, and collects incoming and outgoing community and resident mail; may be asked to perform basic office/clerical functions; maintains visitor logs.
- Responds to resident emergencies by calling appropriate internal and external parties based on community protocol.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and be comfortable using standard office equipment. The job requires the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and follow established protocols. Experience in a receptionist or front‑desk role is preferred.
