About the Position

We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Hardware Clerk to join Bi‑Mart. This position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service. The primary responsibilities include inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise. The hardware clerk’s daily tasks can include prompt and friendly service to our customers, ensuring a well‑stocked department and precise handling of customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Inventory replenishment and stocking of hardware products.
• Cashiering and transaction processing.
• Maintaining merchandise and visual presentation.
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assisting customers with hardware and automotive related inquiries.
• Ensuring accuracy and safety in the hardware department.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to set priorities, organize workload, and be precise.
• Problem‑solving skills with the ability to offer solutions to customers.
• Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or other retail position.
• Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is an asset.
• Knowledge and experience with home repair, automotive care, and other building hobbies are valued.

Schedule

Open 9:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday – Friday; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Saturday – Sunday. Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.

Compensation

Bi‑weekly / On‑Demand payment. Salary range: USD $15.85 – $18.95 per hour.
