An HR Generalist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientations.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave‑of‑absence management.

  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance evaluation processes, assist managers with employee assessments, and implement training and development programs.

  • Policy Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and manage data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

  • Experience: 3‑4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist.

  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, and a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
