We are looking for an Assistant Director of Restaurants to join our leadership team at the Conrad Washington, DC.
Overview
The Conrad DC is an acclaimed 4‑Star hotel with 32,000 square feet of banquet space and five food & beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in‑room dining.

Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
Annual salary $84,000‑$87,000 based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?
- Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, marketing initiatives, systems use, budgeting, department management, policies, and meeting facilitation.
- Develop team performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
- Monitor service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards.
- Implement up‑selling techniques and create new menus to maximize revenue.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members.
- Facilitate meetings and support overall profitability.
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of food & beverage management experience in an upscale environment.
- Leadership, integrity, hospitality, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.
- Strong product knowledge, commitment to excellence, and experience with union management and hotels (plus).
