Cybersecurity Specialist Job at Cyber Lab LLC in Dededo Municipality

Cyber Lab LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the execution of cybersecurity deliverables for Military Construction (MILCON) projects involving Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS). This role works under the guidance of a senior Cybersecurity SME and focuses on helping ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements across building and utility control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and coordination of cybersecurity documentation, including:
• Control System Inventory Reports
• Cybersecurity Network (Riser) and Data Flow Diagrams
• Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) listings
• Password and Audit Reports
• Vulnerability Scan Results and Resolution Logs
• Assist with device hardening in accordance with STIGs/SRGs and RMF guidelines
• Perform basic workstation configuration: Windows updates, antivirus setup, encryption, password compliance
• Help collect, organize, and verify scan data (e.g., SCAP, ACAS, Event Viewer logs)
• Provide technical support during Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and cybersecurity leads for timely submittals
• Support physical and logical network inventory tasks for FRCS equipment

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 1–3 years experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity-related roles
• Familiarity with control systems, operational technology (OT), or building automation systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of:
  • Windows 10/11 Pro setup and security
  • Basic TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Antivirus, patching, and account management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Certifications (Minimum 1 required)

• CompTIA Security+ CE
• CompTIA CySA+
• CompTIA CASP+
• Cisco CCNA Security (or equivalent)
• Other IAT Level II certifications accepted under DoD 8570

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing or reviewing cybersecurity documentation for federal contracts
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs/SRGs, or RMF steps
• Ability to interpret redlines and comments from NAVFAC or DoD reviewers
• Familiarity with tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and eMASS (optional)
