Childcare Teacher – Atlanta, GA

Full‑time position. Hours 9 am–6 pm. Base pay range: $18.75 – $22.90 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Create hands‑on activities that meet the needs and interests of young children.
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
- Preferred: CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field.
- Required: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
- Must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
Physical Requirements
The position requires all applicable immunizations, health, and safety training. The employee will work in person at a preschool center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in compliance with Bright Horizons policies and applicable regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $18.75 – $22.90, depending on experience.
