Civil Engineer
to join its collaborative team in
Boston, MA . This individual will support the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. You will gain experience in site/civil engineering design for projects such as mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other land development initiatives. Job Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects; Help prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Use reports, maps, drawings, and photographs to assess soil, terrain, hydrological, topographical, and geological data and their impact on project planning and design; Propose new approaches to improve efficiency and service quality; Apply engineering principles and advanced mathematics; Collaborate with team members on project tasks; and Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; 0-2 years of relevant experience; Minimum 3.0 GPA; EIT certification or current FE exam registration preferred; Relevant internship or professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion; Excellent communication skills; Strong attention to detail, analytical, multitasking, and judgment skills; Ability to work independently and in a team; Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.
